The Economics of School Choice
In conjunction with an economics professor at Providence College, the RI Center for Freedom & Prosperity is developing a "School Choice Economic Modeling Program" that calculates the fiscal effects that various voucher-type school choice programs would have across the state.
Detailed projections on various scenarios can be found on RIFREEDOM.org in all cases, two major fiscal benefits will result:
1) More money per student in public schools!
2) More overall money spent on education in RI!
